Once your date is officially booked with a signed contract and paid retainer, that time is reserved just for you. I don’t take on any other bookings for your date, so you can feel confident knowing it’s fully set aside.

Here’s a simple overview of how cancellations and rescheduling work: Your retainer is non-refundable, as it secures your date and covers the time spent planning and preparing. If you need to reschedule, you may do so once at no charge with at least 14 days’ notice, as long as I’m available on the new date. Your retainer will transfer to your new date. Any additional reschedules or changes made within 14 days of your session or wedding may include a $100 rescheduling fee and are subject to availability.

If your session is canceled entirely, the retainer is forfeited. Any remaining balance will be handled according to the terms outlined in your contract. In the very unlikely event that I need to cancel, you will receive a full refund of all payments, including your retainer, and I will help you find a trusted replacement photographer. This is a general overview - full details are always provided in your signed contract, so everything is clear and protected for both of us.
