Hello darling,

I'm Lydia

Photography has been the most consistent thread in my life for as long as I can remember. It started back in high school in yearbook and sports photography, when I realized how much I loved freezing emotion - the grit, the joy, the realness. Later in church, it was photographing worship and community that truly changed everything for me. Watching people connect, worship, cry, laugh, and hold one another in sacred, unscripted moments made something in my heart go,

oh… this is it.

For me, photography has never just been about pretty pictures.

It’s about making people feel safe. Seen. Celebrated. Emotionally held. Being behind the camera has carried me through my hardest seasons, and using my gifts to pour into others has always brought me back to myself. Whether you’re wildly in love, deep in family life, or walking through something tender, I want your photos to preserve what it felt like to be there - not just how it looked.

God is woven into all of this. He’s the foundation of how I love and how I serve, and I believe every person who steps in front of my lens is there on purpose.

My job is to honor their story with care, grace, and a whole lot of heart.

WHERE I'M ROOTED

I was born in Honolulu and grew up as a military kid, which meant moving often and learning how to adjust to new places and new people pretty quickly. That kind of upbringing gives you a wide view of the world - and a deep appreciation for the seasons of life that feel steady and familiar.

Today, I call Gulf Breeze, Florida home, where I get to enjoy slower mornings, salty air, and a life that feels intentionally rooted. I’m here with my husband Mike and our golden retriever, Bo, building something warm and lasting along the Gulf Coast. This season of my life is simple in the best way, and it’s shaped how I show up for the people I interact with - present, grounded, and grateful for every story I get to witness.

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me rewatching rom-coms, nerding out over psychology and football, sipping good coffee, or playing with Bo like he’s the center of the universe (because… he is). I’m deeply empathetic, a natural encourager, and the kind of girlie who will hype you up one minute and hold space for allll the feels the next.

During sessions, you will 100% hear me call you darling, precious, babe, and other sweer endearments. I can't help it! I am also the one to for sure fix your hair, crack jokes, and occasionally snap into focus-mode when we need to make magic happen. Think playful, grounded, and gently guided - with room for goofing off, emotion, and real connection.

My people are the joyful-chaotic ones. The sentimental romantics. The creatives. The families who love big. The couples who aren’t afraid of a little drama and a lot of heart. If you want photos that feel alive, honest, and deeply you, I’d be honored to tell your story.

If you’ve made it this far - thank you for getting to know me! This business is such a blessing, and it meansa lot to have the chance to connect with people like you. If you feel like we’d be a good fit, I’d truly love to hear your story and walk alongside you in this season.

Let’s create something meaningful, together.
